Plainview Invite

Medalist, Dana Merkel of Crofton, led her team to the championship at the Plainview Invite on Saturday, September 15. Crofton placed all five of their girls in the top 15. Runner-up, Bernice Bowers of Hartington, helped her team to the runner-up spot.
Kelsey Crabtree medaled for Plainview as she finished tied for 9th with her score of 108. Just a few strokes out of a medal were Michelle MacGregor-113 and Jen Krueger-114. These three seniors continue to improve in both score and leadership for the golf team. Kayla Bowman’s short game continued to plague her as she finished with 124. Lindsay Krueger had her score of 129 not used in the team scoring. With conference next Saturday at Crofton, every girl must step up her game for the team to finish high in the standings.
Playing on the reserve team were Nicole Sorensen-139, Sam Hart-144, and Sarah MacGregor-159. These girls have also continued to improve in most aspects of the game and will become valuable members in the years to come.
