The Plainview reserve golf team traveled to Pierce to participate in the Pierce Invitational on Tuesday, April 29th. This was a meet that was postponed from Saturday, April 26th. Playing against mostly varsity teams, the Pirates finished 9th of the 11 schools that were able to make the rescheduled meet.
Zac Masat led the team with a pair of 48’s as he has continued to improve the later part of the season. Close behind was Nic Miller-97 and Jacob Proskovec-99. Miller opened with a 50 and was able to improve the second nine. Proskovec was just the opposite as he had the low nine for the team on the front nine at 46. Adam Krueger also struggled the back nine to finish at 102 while Kenny Albin-108 completed the team scoring.
The reserves have one more dual and then some of them will play in the conference meet on May 8th.
