CARE PACKAGES FOR SENIORS

October 23, 2008

We are putting together care packages for senior citizens in Plainview who cannot afford every day things.  Some examples of items we hope to put in the packages include: mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, q-tips, toilet paper, bottled water, food, Kleenex’s, bath towels and garbage bags.  Anyone can donate the items we have listed above or you can make a cash donation.  You may send your donation to school with your child or drop it off at the high school or elementary offices.  The student council and the 6th grade class will be taking care of all the work it will take to make the care packages and deliver them.  Mrs. Hodson and Mrs. Mosel will be assisting the students through this process.  There will be an article in the newspaper. Also there will be fliers hanging around town. You do not have to donate, but any amount will be great. We will be doing this project between now and November 21st. We will greatly appreciate any donations! THANKS for all your help.
