FCCLA Contributes to Make a Wish Foundation
Launch the media gallery 1 playerFCCLA members donated a total of $160 to the Make a Wish Foundation of Nebraska this spring. Chances to win a wishing well, constructed by Mr. Brent Moeller's woods class, were sold during basket ball games and throughout the community by FCCLA members. A drawing was held in the principal's office by Sara Kromerak with Jan Burger witnessing. The winner of the wishing well was Herb Zeigenbien of Plainview.
The Make a Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.The Make a Wish Foudnation chapter volunteers are part of a nationwide network of nearly 25,000 caring people dedicated to making wishes come true.Although it has become one of the world’s most well-known charities, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions. Volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers, special events assistants and in numerous other capacities.
