Feasibility Study Report
Jerry Ehlers, of Key Concepts, met with the boards of education of the Plainview, Creighton, Osmond, Bloomfield and Wausa school districts on Wednesday evening to share with them his findings of the feasibility study he conducted. The study encompasses approximately 350 pages of data and 61 different combinations of the schools in the study, ranging from pairing two schools together to pairing all five schools together. Information on projected enrollments, finances, staffing, facilities, transportation, etc. were incorporated in the study findings. Because of the many different combinations of the schools, Mr. Ehlers focused his presentation on “training” the boards to read and interpret the data. Each board can then select which combinations of schools fit their specific interests and focus their attention on those study results.
It is not practical to print copies of the 350 page manual for everyone. However, Mr. Ehlers has made the study available on each district’s website. By clicking on the following link you will have access to the entire printed report. Should you have questions about the report, please contact Mr. Alt at the school office (402-582-4993).
