Greetings, especially to those Plainview Pirate alumni who have found your way to my page.  I'm pleased to introduce to you my family:  my son Jacob, a State Farm Insurance salesman (that's right...Jake from State Farm!), my wife Rhonda who is a Kindergarten teacher here at Plainview Elementary, Peighton who is a Sophomore, Eli who is a Junior at WSC, my daughter Alexis who is an Instructional Facilitator with Elkhorn Public Schools, and her husband Matt who is a physical therapist in Omaha.

I am a 1985 Plainview High School Graduate with professional degrees from Wayne State College and the University of South Dakota. I am also a proud United States Army Reserve veteran.

I am serving Plainview Public Schools in my 8th year as superintendent after teaching and administrative stops at:  Orange City, IA, Fairbury, Seward, Humphrey St. Francis, Lexington, Central City, and Pawnee City, NE.

A primary goal of mine as leader of the school district is to help our former graduates stay connected or re-connect with Plainview High School.  I hope to use your experiences to support our current students as they begin their early journey on their chosen careers.
