Casey's Gives ServSafe Tour to Foods Students
While at Casey's, Paula explained and demonstrated to students how what they learned in their ServSafe portion of the foods class is applied in the food industry. Paula went through ServSafe guidelines and explained how they are applied at Casey's and also gave additional information about specific food safety regulation that Casey's also has. Some of the topics included food inspection and storage procedures, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work spaces, and hot and cold holding of food to specific temperatures.
