Hintz and Kumm receive HSE Program of Study Certificates
During Honors Night held on May 4, two seniors were recognized for completing programs of study in the Human Services and Education Career Field (Family and Consumer Sciences). To complete a program of study, students need to take all classes within that program as outlined by Nebraska Department of Education. This year, seniors Brooklyn Kumm and Crystal Hintz each completed two programs of study and received certificates for their efforts.
Brooklyn Kumm completed the Culinary Arts Program by taking Foods and Nutrition, Culinary 1 and Culinary 2. Crystal Hints completed the Child Youth and Family Program of Study by taking Human Development, Child Development, and Interpersonal Relationships. Both seniors completed the Early Childhood Education and Services Program of Study by taking Child Development, Early Childhood Education 1, and Early Childhood Education Practicum. Brooklyn and Crystal had also completed several additional FCS courses in addition to their completed Programs of Study, receiving a well-rounded Human Services and Education background to prepare them for their future careers.
