10th Annual Tractor Drive

This year the chapter has decided to hold our tractor parade to benefit local flood victims in some of our area towns. Instead of parade participants throwing out candy to spectators, we are asking community members who can’t participate in the parade to “throw” donations into a collection wagon. These wagons will be going through the traditional parade route and students will be available to help load . . .

Northeast Scholastic Day

On Wednesday, March 20 th , Mrs. Arehart, K-12 School Counselor, took 32 students to the Scholastic Day Competition and Quiz Bowl at Northeast Community College in Norfolk.  Students are able to take a maximum of two tests each year, and they can only take one test in the same subject throughout their 4 years of high school.  Quiz Bowl members were Captain, Keaton Eichberger and teammates: Jacob Hoffmann, Cameron Nelson, and . . .

Norfolk Service Day

Twenty-three students from Plainview’s High School went to Norfolk to participate in a Service Day sponsored by Mrs. Arehart and Ms. Hamm on Monday, February 18th. The nine National Honor Society members and fourteen students from Ms. Hamm’s Health class went to volunteer their time and make a difference in order to help others.
