FFA Livestock Judging

On Tuesday Jan 31^st 12 Plainview FFA / Ag education students participated in the 2017 district livestock judging contest at Northeast Community College. 

Out Senior team Placed 7^th and had 3 student receive ribbons (ribbons are only awarded to top half of competitors) Kailee Rafert tied for 19^th place, Tyler Maset was 24^th and Micah Williams tied for 33^3rd ,  all received red ribbons in the senior judging division which saw 66 students from District 4 compete

In the Junior division Plainview had two students receive ribbons Jacob Hoffman placed 20^th and Becca Kment placed 36^th both received red ribbons. Brendon Rasmussen placed 40^th and was one place away from a ribbon. There were 77 students that competed at the contest in the district level.  The junior team placed 9^th.
