FCCLA, FFA, and NTHS Members organized the Relay for Life Events.

For the fifth year in a row, Plainview High School has won the Kids for Cures-Norfolk Area Relay for Life Competition raising a total of $1,356. FCCLA, FFA, and NTHS chapter members held two main fundraising events in March.  FFA members held the Tractor Parade for Life and raised $382 and FCCLA held Jazzercise for Life raising $974.

Norfolk Area Relay for Life Coordinators held a celebration Monday, May 8th, for 7-12 grade students as a thank you.  Coordinators hosted a “Hope Floats” Celebration Party providing students with pop floats, games, and prizes.  FFA, FCCLA, and NTHS members who spearheaded the Relay for Life events received t-shirts and were presented the traveling trophy, which will continue to be displayed in the trophy case by the Principal’s office for another year.
