FCCLA Jazzercise For Life March 17th
The FCCLA “Jazzercise For Life” is back for its annual event with a different format and location. This year the event will be a regular one-hour Dance Mixx Jazzercise class held at the Jazzercise Center starting at 7:00 am Saturday, March 17th. A second class will be held at 8:30 am. Those attending will have the option of attending both classes for an extended version or taking the class time of their choice. This will also be a free-will donation class this year with all proceeds going towards Relay for Life. All attendees will receive a free Jazzercise water bottle and prizes will be given out during the event. No childcare will be offered onsite this year due to limited space. Pre-registration is not required. For questions contact the Jazzercise Center at 582-4834 or FCCLA Adviser, Ronita Jacobsen at the high school 582-4991.
“Anyone can attend this event. You do not need to have a Jazzercise membership. Take advantage of this opportunity to try Jazzercise and have fun working out with others while you support a great cause. Attendees will get a great workout, free water bottle, a door prize, all while supporting Relay for Life!” stated Ronita Jacobsen, FCCLA Adviser. “Come join the fun!”.
This will be FCCLA’s main fundraising event for the Norfolk Area Relay for Life “Kids for Cures” contest. FFA will be hosting their Relay for Life Tractor Parade on March 19th at 4:00 pm as their main fundraising event. FCCLA and FFA have worked together to raise money for Kids for Cures -Norfolk Area Relay for Life the past several years. The last five years they have raised the most money during the month of March to win the traveling trophy and the 7-12 grade celebration.
