Ten Qualify for State Meet

Pirates to Compete in Omaha

Ten members of the Plainview High School track teams will be competing at the annual state track meet held at Burke Stadium in Omaha on May 21 and 22.

Representing the boys' team will be Andrew Lingenfelter in the 100m and 200m dashes, Harrison Lingenfelter in the discus, and Jamie Alexander in the pole vault.

The girls' team will be competing the 4x100m relay, 4x800m relay.  Relay team members are Melissa Sterkel, Trisha Buss, Whitney Masat, and Brooke McCabe in the 4x100m relay.  

4x800m relay members are Brooke McCabe, Leanna Kalvelage, Melissa Dohmen, and Whitney Masat. Jen Leach will compete in the high jump, Trisha Buss will compete in the 300 hurdles, and Leanna Kalvelage will compete in the 800m run.  Brooke McCabe will represent the Lady Pirates in the 400m run.
