National Technical Honory Society Inducts Members
National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) inducted 11 members during its inaugural induction ceremony on May 8th, prior to the Honors Night Program. The Plainview High School NTHS Chapter recognizes and honors students for outstanding achievement in their career and technical education programs. This recognition is achieved through a nomination, evaluation, and selection process based upon exemplary citizenship, leadership, workmanship, and scholarship. The highest recognition bestowed upon career and technical education students is through membership in the National Technical Honor Society.
Eleven juniors and seniors were inducted following a candle ceremony describing the seven membership attributes. Seniors inducted were…Kaytlyn Johnston,
Michaela Sirek, Jennifer Ziegenbein, Mark Keck, Teresa Pellatz and Juniors were Annie Robinson, Darian Bowers, MaKenze Petersen, Brent Demerath, Caleb Nuehring, and Rachel Sorenson.
Members received a certificate of membership, membership card and pin, tassel, and NTHS sticker emblem. Seniors will receive their NTHS medallions at graduation to wear during the ceremony.

NTHS Advisers inducting members were Ronita Jacobsen, Lori Klooz, and Chad Kment. Additional NTHS Advisers are Brent Moeller, Mary Sterkel, and Tammy Schindler.
