Jan. 10 Date Set for FCCLA Red Cross Blood Drive
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe FCCLA Red Cross Blood Drive returns on Tuesday, January 10, at the high school from 9 am to 3 pm.
Appointments are preferred to be made online at www.redcrossblood.org or by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App on your phone. Appointments can also be made by phoning sponsor Ronita Jacobsen at 402-841-4566 or the high school at (402) 582-4991. FCCLA Members will try to make phone calls once school is back in session Jan. 5th. Walk-ins are allowed IF there is a current opening.
Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with a completed parental permission form), meet height and weight requirements (at least 110 pounds based on height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. After testing positive for COVID-19, donors must wait 14 days before giving blood. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive identification (driver’s license).
