FCCLA and Educators Rising Host Easter Egg Hunt March 21
Local student organizations are bringing springtime joy to Plainview with a community Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for March 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Plainview Elementary School. The event, organized by FCCLA and Educators Rising, promises a morning of fun for children and families throughout the area.
Children of elementary school age and younger are invited to participate in the hunt, which will feature separate activities for three age groups. Infants through 3-year-olds, 4- to 6-year-olds, and children 7 years and older will each have their own designated hunt area, ensuring that all participants can enjoy the event at an appropriate level.
Adding to the excitement, rumors suggest that the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance at the event. Children are encouraged to look for the beloved character as they search for eggs throughout the morning.
In case of poor weather, organizers have made arrangements to move the hunt indoors to Plainview High School, ensuring the event will proceed rain or shine.
After completing the hunt, each child will have the opportunity to select a drink and prize. Organizers ask that participants empty their eggs and return them to designated boxes for reuse.
The event would not be possible without the generous support of local sponsors, including the Plainview Chamber of Commerce, Mahaska, and Plainview Ball Backers. These organizations have contributed to making this community event a success.
